Welcome to Stoneleigh
In 1922, the Stoneleigh Corporation was formed, and a well-planned residential community of prestigious homes was laid out. The original street plans took into consideration the natural contours of the land, and the towering Poplar, Maple, and Sycamore trees were preserved, and continue to line the streets over 80 years later.
Homes in Stoneleigh are an interesting blend of colonials and English country cottages. Houses vary in appearance and design, but still retain a sense of “community” in relation to the neighboring homes. The well landscaped gardens, towering trees, and stylish homes make Stoneleigh one of the most attractive neighborhoods in the Towson area. Many residents have improved their properties with additions and renovations, bringing the 1920s homes into the 21st century.
